Day 317 and what I'm thankful for

Sunday at church, we sang one of my favorite hymns: 'Count your blessings'.

Anyway, trying to step out of my box and think of "different things" I'm thankful for.

I am thankful for the fire that destroyed our home. Even though that was one of the hardest times in our marriage, we have been blessed with a beautiful home that is in much better condition than the old one was.

I am thankful for my first marriage. I would not have Serenity and Josh and I would have never moved to Enid, met and married Tom and had Natasha without it.

I am thankful for getting fired from my last job. It led me into child care where I've been for the last 15+ years.

I have always told people that no matter how horrible something seems,it happened for a reason. The result is usually a blessing in disguise. I can think of a lot of small things like that. Most of them would be really hard to shorten up enough to put in writing. Suffice it to say I am grateful for the path my life has taken!
