Ugh, my sinuses have been giving me horrible problems the last few weeks. I've had nosebleeds and been really wheezy. I know I"m not the only one suffering, but so far I've stayed fairly healthy otherwise (knocking on wood...LOL).
So my goals for this year were to:
1. Continue our journey towards financial peace. Well, we've continued but it hasn't been easy. Nothing we can do except keep praying and keep trying. Never, never, never give up!
2. Get more organized in my home and business. Hmmm...one look at my office would answer that question. Never give up...
3. Have a more positive attitude. I'm trying. I really am. Never give up...
So, I guess one thing I have been successful at this past year-I haven't given up. I've wanted to and I've felt like it at times. But I haven't!
Tomorrow's post will look at how much debt we did manage to pay off this year. Focus on the positive!
I'm a middle-aged woman determined to get out of debt. My husband and I are going through Financial Peace University (again!) through our church. As Dave Ramsey says, this isn't a microwave, it's a slow cooker. Come with me on my journey!

Day 698 and sorry
This day was crazy and I had a raging headache and totally forgot until right now about posting a blog entry. I'll do the goal update tomorrow. Good night!

Day 697 and the 2009 countdown
Well, here we are in the last month of 2009. This year has been a rough one for our family. We've had worse, of course (2004 comes to mind), but I for one will be glad to see 2010 come roaring in.
As you may have guessed, I did not do all that well on my goals for 2009. Tomorrow, I'll go back and look those up and talk about how well I did (or did not) do on them.
My graduation ceremony is in 11 days, on December 12th which also happens to be our 17th wedding anniversary! Serenity reserved us a room in Norman as our Christmas present so we can stay down there that weekend. We'll get a little romantic getaway in addition to my graduation!

Days 692, 693, 694, 695 & 696, and Thanksgiving's over, time for Christmas!
Hope that everyone had a super holiday weekend. Thursday, we saw Serenity in Norman and got to meet her boyfriend for the first time. Really liked him. Then Friday, we went to visit my family and also got to visit some friends while we were down there. The weekend went by way too fast, but it was a good one. Now we're careening quickly towards Christmas!
