Tomorrow is the parade in town, and the mother's club has some activities going on afterwards. In addition, I need to do some serious homework this weekend since I have had a busy week in the evenings and naptimes haven't been exactly um...nappy this week. LOL. So my point is, you might not see or hear from me until Monday.
One little brag on ourselves, we've only eaten out twice in the last two weeks. Last Friday after getting groceries, we stopped and got subs to bring home (around $10). Tonight we stopped at El Chico and used our buy one enchilada dinner, get one free coupon and brought home enchiladas for supper (two dinners for less than $10!). So we're treating ourselves, but we're being careful about it and not overdoing it.
I'm a middle-aged woman determined to get out of debt. My husband and I are going through Financial Peace University (again!) through our church. As Dave Ramsey says, this isn't a microwave, it's a slow cooker. Come with me on my journey!

Days 604 & 605 and this has been a busy week
Wow, this has been a busy week! I've had two meetings, plus a house full of little blessings each day. I do not think I posted that I had an answered prayer this week. Two of my part-time children started coming full-time. Yeah! So now I've got one more full-time spot to fill, and I start a two day a week drop-in next week. It's way past my bedtime and I am tired so I'm going to bed. Good night!

Days 601, 602, & 603 and REALLY?
Tom's car has had kind of a weird wobble to it, so he took it to get the tires checked this morning. We were thinking it needed new front tires. Well it does, but it also needs new ball joints. Naturally. I guess I better follow my own advice from Saturday and get to praying and reading my Bible.
Speaking of prayers, one of my little child care boys is sick and in the hospital. Please keep him and his family in prayers.
