Days 543 & 544 and a great (but exhausting) week!

This week at VBS was wonderful. I enjoyed the kids, I enjoyed the music, and I am really glad it's over. LOL. Today we took Tasha and her friends bowling for her birthday, picked up pizza and came home, they're all upstairs watching movies tonight. Now that VBS is over, I should be able to get back to normal postings everyday. Hope everyone had a wonderful week and stayed at least semi-cool!

Days 541 and 542 and on the downhill slide

Well, we're on the downhill slide of the week of VBS. Two more nights and the program on Sunday to go! It's been going great. We had another boy join our one boy which made him happy! I've been having lots of fun, but I sure am tired! I am going to take advantage of all my kiddos being asleep right now and relax in the recliner for a while. Hope everyone is having a wonderful week. One of the nice things about VBS is that supper is provided each night so I don't have to worry about fixing supper early before we go. So I've had a week off from cooking supper. Yeah!

Day 540 and the first night of VBS

The first night of VBS went well. We had 8 kids in our class, 7 giggly girls and one boy. I'm helping with the 4th-6th grades. I was asked at the last minute to help with that age group last year and loved it, so I volunteered to this year. Hope everyone is having a great week!

Days 536, 537, 538, & 539 and what a wonderful weekend

Tom & I had an absolutely wonderful weekend together. We went to a comedy club on Friday night. On Saturday morning, we slept in and then went to a flea market. That was fun. When we were dating, there used to be a flea market in Enid and that was one of our favorite things to do, go walk around the flea market. This flea market that we went to in Tulsa was huge. We had a really nice time walking around in there and looking around. It was just a really nice, laid-back, relaxing weekend. Now it's back to reality. LOL.

Tonight, we start VBS at church. I'll be leaving here around 4:45 each day and getting home about 9:45. I have a busy week most of the week in the daycare, too. So I'll do my best to post a brief message each day, but if I don't, you'll know why. Hope everyone has a nice week!
