Last night was the last night of revival. If you've ever been to a revival that Ernie Perkins is doing, then you know his wife Wanda brings her friend Wally(you can see some old pics from when she came to my house a few years ago) and does a skit for the kids. Anyway, last night, she did a skit on letting our light shine before men. Which got me to thinking, how is my light shining? Do people know that I am a Christian just by my actions? I go to church, but what about out in the world, like at the grocery store? Or at home with my husband? It's definitely something to think about.
Matthew 5:15 & 16
15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
I'm a middle-aged woman determined to get out of debt. My husband and I are going through Financial Peace University (again!) through our church. As Dave Ramsey says, this isn't a microwave, it's a slow cooker. Come with me on my journey!

Revival at Bethel Hawley Baptist Church!
My favorite time of year at church is the annual revival! It is always so uplifting to my spirits and an encouragement to me. It is Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. at Bethel Hawley Baptist Church.
