I'm a middle-aged woman determined to get out of debt. My husband and I are going through Financial Peace University (again!) through our church. As Dave Ramsey says, this isn't a microwave, it's a slow cooker. Come with me on my journey!

Day 282 and Skin MD Natural
Remember a few months ago when I reviewed a product called "Gloves in a Bottle"? The promoter for that sent me a sample bottle of another product called Skin MD Natural to try. It has a very light, pleasant scent (not at all perfumey), you use just a little dab (it goes a long ways) and it seems to work pretty well. One thing I really like about it is that it can be used more frequently, every 2 hours where the Gloves in a Bottle was every 4 hours. Since I've probably washed my hands 500 times (or so it seems) in that 4 hours, I often feel like I need lotion LONG before the time is up. However, the true test for both lotions will be in the next few weeks as the temperatures cool off. I'll keep you posted!

OOO. Where do you get this stuff? My hands are eternally dry in the winter and I go through bottles and bottles of Jergens. This sounds like a great little invention they came up with.
I am currently using Mary Kay Satin Hands from the spa collection (which I got for a dollar a bottle at a garage sale of a MK consultant!) followed by ginger citrus body butter by Arbonne. I hope it continues to work through the winter. Your stuff sounds better, though.
I am a firm believer in Avon's Silicone Glove. I have some kind of skin allergy that causes my hands to break out in a rash. The only thing I can find that dries it up is ...ugh...athlete's foot cream. However it dries out my hands and Silicone Glove is the only thing I have found that helps them heal quickly!
Heidi, The Gloves in a Bottle website is linked down at the bottom of my blog page. I can't remember where all it is available, I seem to remember Wal-Greens was one place. The Skin MD Natural website is: http://www.skinmdnatural.com/ and it has a store locator as well as information on getting a free sample.
Linda, I hope your stuff works too. Di, does the silicone glove stuff from Avon have a strong smell? I know one of the lotions I got from them was so perfumey that I could not use it.
I don't consider it perfumey, but it has a very distinct smell. Mandy says that it " smells like Mom". I can't use stuff with a strong smell, because of my allergy.
