I'm a middle-aged woman determined to get out of debt. My husband and I are going through Financial Peace University (again!) through our church. As Dave Ramsey says, this isn't a microwave, it's a slow cooker. Come with me on my journey!

Day 530 and another quiet Saturday
It was not supposed to be a quiet Saturday. I was supposed to go to Moore for a meeting of the Family Child Care Sub-Committee that I am on. Was going to go to Norman after and see Serenity. But that meeting got rescheduled for August 8th. I got grocery and Wal-Mart shopping done for this weekend. So I got a quiet, relaxing day instead. Yeah! I hope to get a few things accomplished, but haven't done much yet. Does anyone have a hard time getting motivated when it's this darn hot?

It doesn't have to be hot for me not to have motivation. When school was over my brain and motivation turned off...took a long vacation....can't seem to find it anywhere! Point proven, I am on here instead of cleaning my desk!
Right there with you!!! The website I checked earlier said the high today in Enid was 107... and now it's raining. It's gonna be sooooo muggy now.
Oh Rachelle! I've been having the same problem since I finished my classes in May-no motivation! But this heat does not help. LOL.
It's thundering here right now, Mary. I'm sure it will feel like a sauna out there once it rains.
Summer is supposed to be the time you can get out and do stuff, but when it's this hot I don't even want to walk to the mailbox. I'm not complaining TOO much, though. We were in Atlanta last week and it was just as hot, but the humidity was way worse. I was constantly soaked and dripping!
Man, that must have been some humidity in Atlanta Linda. Uck!
