You know how sometimes you get something in an e-mail or the mail just when you really need it most? When I got my mail yesterday, I had an envelope from my friend Linda/Mom Thumb. The contents brought tears to my eyes. She and her daughter had been to the Affair of the Heart craft show and bought this magnet for me. It says:
God may say 'wait' but He never says 'worry'. Then below that it has this Bible verse: Don't worry about anything; instead pray about everything. Tell God what you need and thank Him for all He has done. If you do this, you will experience God's peace. Philippians 4:6-7.
Wow. Just wow. Then on the attached note, she told me of a prayer she had read: God our Father, walk through my house and take away all my worries and illnesses, in Jesus' name, Amen.
I don't know what else to say except thanks, Linda. It is a blessing to have you as a friend.

That was really thoughtful of Linda, wasn't it. Of course it doesn't surprise me, I know Linda is a very special friend.
I'm glad it got there okay, I was a little skeptical about sending it in that envelope! I almost walked by this booth with about a thousand magnets, but then I glanced over and for some reason I was drawn enough to that one to go over and read it. When I saw it, I knew God had sent me there for you. :-)
Yes, Di, it was, and yes, she is!
Linda, thanks again!
