Well, I've been blabbing on and on about Christmas, I figured it's time to switch gears and talk about Thanksgiving. I love Thanksgiving! This year, I think we are going to Norman to see Serenity. I'm not sure if we'll go out to eat or eat at her apartment. She has offered us ramen noodles and chicken pot pie. Tasha thought that sounded great. LOL! Anyway, I've got two turkeys in my freezer, I could cook one early, freeze it, and then transport it down there to reheat at her apartment, and take other foods to cook. Serenity is happy as long as she has pumpkin pie.
This is the time of year to watch for good sales on baking goods at the grocery store. Even though the sales do not seem to be as good as in the past, keep an eye out anyway, you might find some unadvertised deals to stock up on. Keep a close eye out even after the holidays are over. Last year, one of my friends found turkeys at Wal-mart for 25 cents a pound after Christmas! That is an amazing price!
The emergency fund is going to take another hit because I broke a tooth this weekend. UGH! Anyway, I'm going to the dentist tomorrow. It's not sensitive to heat or cold so it's not down in the nerve, so I'm hoping they can just fill it in and be done with it. It is however making my jaw ache!
I'm really busy this week. I have meetings tomorrow night and Thursday night, and Friday I go to Women of Faith in OKC. Tomorrow I have an amazing story about that to share.

I am glad you decide to go to Serenity's.( I could tell that is what you wanted to do...) I think last year when we all went out to eat was the most stress free Thanksgiving I have had in years!
We are NOT going to Minnesota for the first time in eleven years, and you wouldn't believe how amazed the MN people are. Geez.
Di, Well, I was (and am) torn about Thanksgiving. But this seems to be the right thing to do. Hopefully Josh will go with us.
Linda, I hope you have a nice Thanksgiving at home!
